This website is operated by Mood Objects. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mood Objects. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation browsers, customers, and contributors of content.


Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or territory, or that you have given us your consent to allow any minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, nor may you violate any laws in your jurisdiction.



Products & Condition

Vintage and Secondhand Items

We work primarily with vintage pieces — objects that have lived a life before arriving with you. Their character is part of what makes them special, and we encourage you to read descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Items that are vintage or secondhand will show signs of age, wear, and prior use. This may include minor marks, variations in finish, repairs, or patina developed over time.

We take care to photograph and describe items as accurately as possible, including noting any significant defects. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the inherent character of vintage items.



Reupholstered & Restored Pieces

Some items have been reupholstered or restored. While we aim for consistency and quality, slight variations in materials, colour, texture, and finish may occur.



Product Representation

We make every effort to display colours and textures accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will perfectly reflect the actual product.



Orders & Availability

All items are subject to availability. Because many pieces are one-of-a-kind, an item is not considered sold until payment has been received.

In rare cases, an item may become unavailable due to simultaneous sales or inventory error. If this occurs, we will notify you and provide a full refund.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inability to fulfil the order.



Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in AUD and are subject to change without notice.

Payment must be received in full before items are dispatched, unless otherwise agreed (e.g. deposits for custom work).



Custom Orders & Upholstery

Custom and made-to-order items may require either full payment or a 50% deposit to commence.

Lead times are estimates and may vary depending on materials, availability, and production schedules.

Once work has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled.

If a customer cancels a custom order before work has begun, a 15% cancellation fee applies.

By placing a custom order, you acknowledge that:

  • materials and finishes may vary slightly from samples or references

  • timelines are indicative only

  • the final product is made specifically for you



Purchasing & Holds

We do not hold items without a deposit.

Viewings before purchase can be arranged by appointment.



Returns, Refunds & Issues

All sales are final and we do not accept returns due to change of mind.

Buyers have 24 hours after receiving an item to notify us of any concerns regarding condition.

We are not responsible for damage incurred during transit by third-party couriers. Any claims for transit damage must be made with the courier directly.

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.



Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.



Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including images, text, branding, and design, is the property of Mood Objects and may not be reproduced or used without permission.



Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mood Objects shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.



Third-Party Services

Certain content, products, or services may include materials from third parties. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of third-party services.



Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
